We paint using Acrylic paints mainly on stretched canvas, but experiment painting on plywood. Our style is realistic but often cartoonish capturing landscapes, animals, and people in their environments. Our pieces are designed to be impactful, with special use of colour and darkness our artwork can stand out from the rest.
Growing up art was our passion. Throughout our younger years constantly drawing on the backs of Weetabix and cornflakes boxes supplied by our Granda after school. This lit the fire which is burning to this day, we just love to create and are so happy that our art has a positive impact.
Most of our paintings are based on first hand images and scenes we seen with our eyes. For example, paintings of our grandfather swinging a pickaxe, the cows and many more are scenes close to home. We are proud to be Irish Artists, we live in a small rural town in Tyrone called Castlederg. Basing our art on our lives and where we are from is important to us.
